Ten teams, five from each league, qualify for postseason play. In both the American and National League, the three division winners will automatically qualify, and the two remaining teams with the best winning percentage will earn the two Wild Card spots. There are four rounds of play in the Major League Baseball postseason.
For 2012, the Orioles could potentially host up to 10 postseason games (either three in the Division series OR a Wild Card game + two in the Division Series; four in the League Championship Series; and three in the World Series).
If you purchased a 2012 regular season parking package, the option to purchase postseason parking passes will be added to your invoice based on the number of passes you had in 2012. Parking passes will be invoiced collectively for all games in the postseason ticket package. Best efforts are made to relocate as few parking assignments as possible; however, there are several parking demands that exist for the postseason including commitments for MLB and its partners. When relocations occur, best efforts are made to take into consideration the location of your regular season parking.
Tickets will be shipped to the address listed on the season ticket account with NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Tickets cannot be sent to a P.O. Box. Due to the very short delivery window, it is imperative that you confirm your accurate address information is on your account.
Postseason ticket packages cannot be picked up at the Orioles offices. Having them shipped via FedEx is the only delivery option available.
All Full Season and 29-Game Plan Postseason ticket packages include two tiebreaker tickets, should we end the regular season in a tie for the American League East and/or an American League Wild Card spot. You will only be charged for these tickets in the event tiebreaker games are played. The balance resulting from any of the postseason games not played will be applied toward played tiebreaker games. In the event that all postseason games are played and you paid with a credit card, your card will automatically be charged. If you paid with a cashiers check, certified check, or money order, you will be invoiced for the tiebreaker games in November. 13-Game Plan Holders will receive an offer to purchase tiebreaker game(s) tickets prior to being released for sale to the general public. A date and time for this on-sale will be announced VIA EMAIL in late-September. Tiebreaker tickets will be priced at the regular Season Plan Holder discounted price. Some additional fees and restrictions may apply (e.g., sales may be online only with tickets delivered via Print-At-Home method).
Will Call drop-offs cannot be accepted for the postseason. If you are transferring tickets to a third party, please make delivery arrangements in advance or use your Orioles Account Manager available online at www.orioles.com/myaccount to forward the tickets electronically.
Current season plan locations cannot be guaranteed for postseason seat locations. Best efforts are made to relocate as few Season Plan Holders as possible when assigning seats for the postseason; however, there are several seating demands that exist for the postseason including commitments for Major League Baseball and its partners. When relocations occur, best efforts are made to take into consideration the location of your regular season seats. Pricing varies for each postseason round and must be approved by Major League Baseball. Your package price reflects your exclusive season ticket discount, if applicable.
You are encouraged to take advantage of the most convenient way to pay for your postseason ticket packages through your Orioles Account Manager available online at www.orioles.com/myaccount.
In order to purchase your postseason ticket package, payment must be received no later than Monday, September 10, 2012 at 5 p.m. ET. After this date, the seat location on your invoice will no longer be available, and the opportunity to purchase postseason ticket packages can no longer be guaranteed.
As an added benefit of your membership in the Orange Carpet Program, all Full Season Plan Holders may purchase additional postseason ticket packages. The number of additional packages available for purchase will be equal to the number of plan seats on your account, up to 8 seats. Additional postseason ticket packages will be located in the Upper or Lower Reserve and are priced at the Season Plan Holder Discount. Seats will be assigned in the order in which payment is received, beginning with Lower Reserve Sections 7-17 & 55-87.
Subject to availability, single game postseason tickets will be made available to all Season Plan Holders (including 13-Game Plan Holders) prior to being released for sale to the general public. If applicable, a date and time for this on-sale will be announced VIA EMAIL in mid-September. Single game postseason tickets are not eligible for a Season Plan Holder discount.
You can forward your postseason tickets through your Account Manager once you have paid your invoice and tickets have been mailed (approximately September 27th). Please remember, once you choose to forward a ticket, the original ticket is no longer valid. It is imperative to make sure the recipients email address is entered correctly because a ticket cannot be recalled once it is forwarded via your Account Manager. Tickets may be forwarded until 2 hours prior to game time.
Please make sure to double-check your tickets before you leave for the game. You will need to have the correct numbered ticket that corresponds to the scheduled home game for the appropriate series. Please take extra care to examine your tickets as series names and logos may appear similar. Fans arriving without the correct tickets will not be admitted. Tickets cannot be reprinted or replaced.
Please take all necessary precautions and safeguard your tickets. Handle them in the same way you would handle cash. There are no complimentary tickets for postseason games. Lost tickets cannot be reprinted or replaced. A police report is required to replace stolen tickets. If tickets are stolen, the Season Plan Holder listed on the season ticket account may have the tickets reprinted provided a police report is filed to replace the stolen tickets.
Should any game(s) not be played, any postseason payments for those games will be applied toward your 2013 season tickets. Once postseason tickets are mailed (approximately September 27), handling fees will be non-refundable. Should you select Payment Option #1 (Learn More) and wish to have a refund for any postseason games not played, the Orioles must receive your request in writing no later than November 9, 2012. If you selected Payment Option #1, refund requests should be submitted to Baltimore Orioles, ATTN: Postseason Refund, 333 West Camden Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Credit card charges will be refunded to the card used to pay for the postseason ticket packages. If you paid by cashiers check, certified check, money order or cash, a refund check will be issued to the Account Holder of Record listed on the season ticket account, typically within 6-8 weeks. Tickets from games not played do not need to be returned. Please keep them as souvenirs.
Postseason tickets cannot be exchanged.
