Johan Santana reacts to his no-hitter: "Yeah, baby! Believe it!"
The wait is over! Johan Santana completed the first no-hitter in Mets history on Friday, ending more than 50 years of waiting and beginning a whirlwind night of attention.
But before addressing the New York media, Santana spoke to his teammates.
Appropriately enough, Run-D.M.C.'s "It's Tricky" was blaring in the clubhouse as Santana came barreling through.
"Tonight we all made history," he said. "That's all that matters."
