As the D-backs begin their final homestand before the break, the team is turning to social media to help promote their campaign to get second baseman Aaron Hill to the All-Star Game in Kansas City.
The club's Facebook page is filled with posts urging fans to vote for Hill in this year's Final Vote campaign.
On Twitter, the D-backs are asking fans to use the hashtag #FinHillVote in their tweets to help spread the word.
Hill is one of five players from the National League vying for the final roster spot, and he knows it's going to be a tough battle.
"They told me my name was called for the final five and I thought, 'Oh man, that's great, who are the other four?'" Hill said. "They said 'Chipper,' and I said 'Ok, you can stop right there.'"
To help Hill win the final roster spot, the D-backs set up a voting station for fans to use when they attend this week's games.
