Parking Lot C
Join us for the First-ever Astros tailgating event at Minute Maid Park! The Astros host the Reds at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 and you can tailgate prior to the game starting at 3:00 p.m. in Lot C with a valid pass for that lot.
You can bring your grill, food and beverage and hang out in the lot before the game. The Astros will provide a large tent, tables and chairs and several Astros partners will be on hand for the fun. Water, soda and $1 hot dogs and popcorn will also be available for purchase during the event.
You must have an Astros Lot C Parking Pass in order to bring a vehicle and/or food & beverage into the lot. Tailgating is not permitted in any other Astros parking lot or in any privately owned lots around the ballpark.
Minute Maid Park Parking & Tailgating Guidelines
Parking Lots open 3 hrs prior to the start of the game.
Vehicles are not allowed to park overnight prior to gameday. Parking Lots close one (1) hour after the conclusion of the game.
All vehicles, including motorcycles, must have a valid parking pass to access Astros Parking Lots.
A parking pass is valid for one (1) parking space only. No trailers of any kind are permitted inside any parking area. Vehicles taking more than one parking space or parked incorrectly will be subject to tow. All fees associated with the removal and impounding of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the owner.
Buses will be directed to street parking off of Bastrop.
Tailgating is permitted in Astros Lot C only on designated days by the club. On those designated days, all tailgating activities must conclude no later than 30 minutes after the game begins.
Fans that wish to park next to friends must arrive at the same time. Parking spots cannot be reserved or saved for fans arriving at a later time. Fans are not allowed to rope off or reserve large tailgate areas in the parking lots.
Tailgating in Astros Lot C must be limited to the area directly in front of or behind the vehicle. Tailgating in empty stalls is prohibited. Tailgating equipment, such as chairs, tents, propane/natural gas grills and other items, cannot expand past the 8'x18' parking stall or impede the pedestrian sidewalks.
Alcoholic Beverages will not be permitted outside of Astros Lot C. If a guest possesses an alcoholic beverage outside of the lot, they are subject to a citation and/or arrest by law enforcement.
Excessive or underage consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated. Drinking games (i.e. beer pong) or any other activity that is linked to competitive or binge drinking is not permitted. Games or activities determined by security to potentially cause harm to other fans will not be allowed.
Glass containers are not permitted.
Please drink responsibly as guests who show signs of impairment may be denied entry into Minute Maid Park.
Alcohol is not permitted in the parking lot after the game has concluded.
Grills are permitted in Astros Lot C. For the safety of all fans oil fryers are prohibited. Liquid charcoal starter & other flammable liquids are prohibited.
All open flames must be extinguished before guests leave the parking space.
A minimum class 2A-10B: C fire extinguisher with a current service tag is required for each open flame cooking area.
For safety and security purposes, all tents, chairs, etc. must be broken down before gusts leave the lot to enter Minute Maid Park.
Fans are limited to preparing food for their family and friends. Private catering companies are not allowed in the Astros Parking Lots. The sale of food or beverage items to other fans is also not permitted.
Golf carts, Segways, skateboards, scooters and other non-licensed motorized vehicles are not permitted to be operated within Astros Parking Lots.
Portable Public Address systems are not permitted Astros Parking Lots. Large portable radios and sound systems inside vehicles cannot be played at an excessive volume as determined by parking lot or security staff.
Small portable electric generators are allowed. However, electrical cords cannot be placed across drive aisles, sidewalks or create a trip hazard for other fans.
Advertising of goods or services is not permitted in Astros Parking Lots. Vehicles with exterior advertising can be stopped from entering even with a valid hangtag. Hanging commercial signage on vehicles, tents or by other means is also not permitted.
Astros Parking Lots are patrolled by parking lot staff, security staff, local law enforcement officers and the fire marshal's office. All fans should enjoy their tailgating experience in a responsible fashion. The Houston Astros Code of Conduct will be enforced throughout all parking areas. Along with season tickets, parking hangtags can and will be revoked for non-compliance of Astros parking regulations and/or Code of Conduct.
