How to Play

Making your selections

Your goal is to select the correct score of each inning of the game, as well as the total hits and errors by both teams. To do this, simply fill in the total number of runs you think will be scored in each half inning, as well as the total number of hits and errors for both the American and National League on an online entry form at www.mlb.com.

In addition, you must also select an answer to each of the following tiebreaker questions:

1. Total number of combined extra base hits by both the American and National League. and
2. Total number of combined strikeouts by both the American and National League.

NOTE: Only hits, runs and errors officially scored hits, runs and/or errors in the 2011 MLB All-Star Game will be counted in the Contest.

Selection Deadline

You will have until 8:00 PM ET on July 12, 2011 to submit your selections. MLBAM's computer shall be the official clock of the Contest.

Scoring

Scoring in the Contest is as follows:

Five (5) points for each correct half inning with 0-1 runs scored
Ten (10) points for each correct half inning with 2-3 runs scored
Twenty (20) points for each correct half inning with 4 or more runs scored
Twenty-five (25) points for the correct total of runs for the National League
Twenty-five (25) points for the correct total of runs for the American League
Twenty-five (25) points for the correct total of hits for the National League
Twenty-five (25) points for the correct total of hits for the American League
Ten (10) points for the correct total of errors for the National League
Ten (10) points for the correct total of errors for the American League
