Spring Training Info
After spending one day away from the Peoria Sports Complex, playing two road games on the same day, the Mariners return for a 12:05 PT game against the Indians. It will be the last day in the Major League clubhouse for several of the players as the first roster cuts of Spring Training are expected to be made on Wednesday. Left-hander Jason Vargas makes his second start of the spring and is pursuing the fifth spot in the rotation. Right-handers Yusmeiro Petit, Steven Shell, Chad Cordero, Mike Koplove and Levale Speigner also are scheduled to pitch.
