Mariners Announce Probable Pitching Rotation For First Two Series
Left-Hander Jason Vargas and Right-Hander Felix Hernandez return to mound in Oakland.
PEORIA, Ariz. -- Seattle Mariners Manager Eric Wedge announced today the probable pitchers for the Mariners first two series, at Oakland (April 6 & 7) and at Texas (April 9-12).
The Mariners played the Oakland A’s in the Japan Opening Series 2012 on March 28 and 29 in Tokyo, Japan, with Felix Hernandez and Jason Vargas each recording no-decisions.
Here’s a look at Seattle’s projected starting pitchers for the first six games:
