  • Orioles encourage fans to vote for the 2015 MLB All-Star Game

    After a successful 2014 campaign, in which three Orioles players were selected by the fans to start the 2014 All-Star Game, the Orioles are again encouraging fans to vote early, vote often, and "Vote Orange" in 2015.

  • Tomorrow's Orioles-White Sox game at 2:05 p.m. ET and be closed to the public

    After consultation with Major League Baseball and city and local officials, tomorrow's game between the Orioles and the Chicago White Sox will begin at 2:05 p.m. ET and will be closed to the public. The Orioles will also play their three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays, scheduled for May 1-3, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. while serving as the home team. All fans with tickets to games on April 29, May 1, May 2, or May 3 at Oriole Park may exchange their tickets for any remaining home game this season on a "dollar for dollar" basis.

    After consultation with Major League Baseball and state and local officials, tonight's game between the Orioles and the White Sox at Oriole Park at Camden Yards has been postponed.

  • Melvin Mora, John Lowenstein, and Gary Roenicke elected to Orioles Hall of Fame

    The Orioles today announced that former Orioles third baseman MELVIN MORA has been elected to the Orioles Hall of Fame. Additionally, the former left field platoon duo of JOHN LOWENSTEIN and GARY ROENICKE will be enshrined as selections of the Veteran's Committee, and long-time Orioles scout FRED UHLMAN SR. will be inducted as this year's Herb Armstrong Award winner.

  • Orioles Place INF Jonathan Schoop on DL; Reinstate INF Jimmy Paredes from DL

    The Orioles today announced that they have placed INF JONATHAN SCHOOP on the 15-day Disabled List with a sprained right knee. In a corresponding move, the Orioles have reinstated INF JIMMY PAREDES from the Disabled List.
