Mariners set Opening Day 25-man roster
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Bill Bavasi announced the following roster moves Saturday:

Optioned to Triple-A Tacoma:
Right-handed pitcher (1): Emiliano Fruto
Catcher (1): Rene Rivera

Selected from AAA Tacoma:
Infielder (1): Roberto Petagine

Placed on 15-day disabled list:
Outfielder (1): Chris Snelling

Designated for Assignment:
Right-handed pitcher (1): Marcos Carvajal

In addition, outfielder Matt Lawton will be placed on the restricted list by Major League Baseball beginning April 2. Lawton will not count against either the 25-man or the 40-man roster limit while on the list.

On April 2, Seattle will select the contract of right-handed pitcher Jeff Harris from AAA Tacoma.
