Felix Hernandez had one of his best starts of the season, allowing only one run and striking out eight over 7 2/3 innings as the Mariners defeated the Rays on Tuesday. Seattle got ahead early with two RBIs by Kenji Johjima and scored four more runs in the eighth to break the game open.
