Right-hander Miguel Batista allowed three runs over 7 2/3 innings of work, but it was the last two tallies -- on a pair of solo homers in the sixth -- that did in him and the Mariners. Jose Guillen and Adrian Beltre hit RBI singles to account for the two Seattle runs.
