Jarrod Washburn was in total command on Thursday as he gave up just two hits and kept the Tigers off the board for seven innings. The win was his fourth in a row and first vs. Detroit since 2005. Mike Sweeney and Wladimir Balentien had the Mariners' two RBIs in the victory.
