Freeways serving the ballpark include I-90, I-5 and SR99. All of these routes pass within 1/2 mile of Safeco Field. Tip: Avoid the heavy traffic congestion around the ballpark by exiting freeways early. Exits nearer to the ballpark become quite congested in the hour prior to a game.

From the North:
I-5 Southbound

• Exit using James Street, Airport Way Exits, Dearborn Street, Forest Street, or Spokane Street
• Follow signs for Safeco Field, west of the freeway

SR99 Southbound

• Exit at 1st Avenue S.
• Safeco Field is located on 1st Avenue one block south of the offramp

From the South:
I-5 Northbound

• Use Spokane Street Exit
• Follow signs for Safeco Field, west of the freeway

From the Eastside:
I-90 Westbound

• Use 4th Avenue offramp
• Follow signs for Safeco Field
