Peanut Controlled Area Nights

The Seattle Mariners are pleased to offer four special peanut controlled area nights at Safeco Field in 2009! No peanuts will be allowed in a reserved area for these four games. There are about 200 seats available for each game so order your tickets soon and enjoy a great night at the ballpark.

Game Date:

  • Wednesday, June 24 - vs. San Diego Padres - 7:10 pm
  • Tuesday, July 7 - vs. Baltimore Orioles - 7:10 pm
  • Monday, August 10 - vs. Chicago White Sox - 7:10 pm

Pricing:
• $11 View Box Seating (normally $27)

Highlights:
  • No peanuts will be allowed in sections 313, 314 and 315 in the view box level during these games - signage will be present to alert other fans of the situation.
  • For the least peanut-exposed path to your ticketed area, please enter Safeco Field through the Right Field Gate and walk up the ramps immediately to your right. (This entrance is on the SE corner of the ballpark on Edgar Martinez Drive S. near the train tracks and parking garage).
  • The concession stand closest to this section will not be selling peanuts for these four games.
  • Seating area will be cleaned and checked just prior to the gates being opened.

Fans should note that peanut-controlled does not mean peanut-free. Safeco Field is an open-air ballpark, and peanuts will be present in other areas of the ballpark. While we will make reasonable efforts to post signs restricting peanut products from this section and clean in advance, we cannot guarantee the absence of peanut particles or residue. Fans with peanut allergies should take all precautions that they customarily take in public places.

2. Select "Find Tickets" then enter PEANUT as your promo code and click "Verify" (ignore the "e-mail address" option).

3. You will need to use the "Create an Account" option on the right side of the following page. This is a Seattle Mariners Group Account (NOT a Ticketmaster account) and will consist of your e-mail address and a unique password that will enable you to order tickets for future Mariners events. Note: If you have previously purchased through this system and already have an account created, please proceed with your existing account information.

4. You will be able to locate your seating, purchase your tickets, and print your tickets instantly- all from your home or office computer!

Groups of 40 or more will have their group name displayed on the scoreboard during the game and receive two additional complimentary tickets along with the group.
