MARINERS RELEASE 2012 SCHEDULE |

The Seattle Mariners 2012 regular season begins on Friday, April 6, on the road against the division-rival Oakland Athletics, according to the tentative schedule announced today. The Home Opener is scheduled for Friday, April 13, also against Oakland. Highlights of the 2012 schedule include Interleague match-ups with teams from the National League West including back-to-back weekend visits to Safeco Field by the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants in June.
The Mariners open on the road for the fourth consecutive season and at Oakland for the third straight year. The opening road trip includes three games against Oakland (April 6-8) and four games against the Texas Rangers (April 9-12). The nine-game opening homestand includes three games each against the A's (April 13-15), Cleveland Indians (April 17-19) and Chicago White Sox (April 20-22).
