Q: How can I relocate my seats? When does this happen?
A: Each year the Mariners offer current season ticket holders the option to change their seat or plan during our Seat Relocation Event. The event is held in early November (6-9) after we have received renewal commitments from all season ticket holders. For the event, we mark all available seats and invite season ticket holders who have expressed their interest in attending to come to the ballpark at a specific date/time to view available locations. If they are not available to come to the ballpark in person, they may send a proxy or speak with their Account Manager via phone.
Q: Is my deposit refundable?
A: Yes, your season ticket deposit is refundable until your final payment is made in January. If you are certain that you want season tickets in 2013, but are very sure that you will not renew in your current location, please let your Account Manager know to release your current seats. That way, they will be available for other season ticket holders during our Seat Relocation Event.
Q: When can I add more seats to my account?
A: All additional seats are added during the Seat Relocation Event, but please let your Account Manager know that you would like to add seats and any specific requirements you may have prior to the event.
Q: What are my payment options?
A: You can pay by phone (credit card), online (credit card), check (mail or in person).
All season tickets have these payment options:
1) Pay in full in October
2) Pay a 20% deposit by October 19 and receive an invoice for the remaining balance (due Jan. 18)
Full and Half Season Plans have a third option:
3) Enroll in one of two payment plans
a. 5 Payments - 20% on each of the following dates: 10/19, 11/15, 12/14, 2/15, 3/15 (skips January payment after the holidays)
b. 2 Payments - 20% on 10/19 and 80% on 1/18
Q: Did you raise season ticket prices this year?
A: The answer to that question depends on the season ticket plan you have and where your seats are located. Some plan prices were increased, others remained the same and a few experienced a decrease.
Q: What benefits do Season Ticket Holders enjoy?
A: In addition to savings over single game prices, our season ticket holders enjoy:
Q: Can I downgrade my plan and keep my same seats?
A: In most cases you are not able to keep your same seats if you downgrade. As you might imagine, larger plan holders are rewarded with the best seats in each seating area, so Full Season are best, followed by half season (weekend, business, half), followed by 16-Game Plans. We recommend that you try to find partners to share your plan rather than downgrade to a smaller plan (see next question). That way, you will maintain the best location and the best price.
Q: Will you help me find partners to split my season tickets?
A: Yes, we offer a free online partnering service (mariners.com/splitseason) to help our season ticket holders finds partners. However, we find that many of our plan holders have great success finding their own partners through family members, school friends, colleagues or clubs/activities. If you have seats for your business, partnering with a longtime vendor or client makes sense, too. Explaining the tremendous cost savings and great location associated with owning season tickets makes it easy to find partners. Once you find your partners, it's easy to manage the relationship online through SplitSeason Tickets, too.
Q: Can I purchase Opening Night tickets? It's not included in my plan.
A: Yes, you will have an opportunity to purchase Opening Night tickets if they are not included in your plan. We will send details about your opportunity in December or January.
Q: Can I pre-purchase parking in the Safeco Field Garage?
A: Yes, that option is available. Season Ticket Holders can pre-purchase parking to correspond to each of their games. The per game price in each case is $17/game ($1377 for a Full Season).
Q: What is a Promotional Item Set?
A: As a Season Ticket Holder, you have the exclusive opportunity to purchase the entire collection of promotional items that are given at the gates of Safeco Field and have them delivered to your door in two installments (July and October). The price for 2013 is $90 (additional shipping for non-residents may apply) and you can purchase up to the same number of seats on your account.
Q: I heard that there was an option for Paperless Tickets? Can you tell me more about this?
A: Yes, for the past two years, we have offered Season Ticket Holders the option to manage their tickets electronically (and not receive pre-printed ticket booklets). We will offer that same option again this season, but we are waiting to hear more about possible technology enhancements from our ticketing partner, Ticketmaster. If you're interested in more information, we will contact you when the details of the program for 2013 are confirmed.
Q: I am paying for my tickets now, but when are my season tickets mailed?
A: Season tickets will be mailed in mid-March.
Q: I need to change the address and the name on my account. What do I do? A: All requests to change the address of a season ticket account must be made in writing, signed by the account holder of record, and sent to the Seattle Mariners Ticket Office, P.O. Box 4100, Seattle, WA 98194. Please notify the Mariners as soon as possible to ensure that you will receive further information in a timely manner. Download change of address form »
To change the contact name: Company/Business Requests: If the season tickets are in the name of a business, the company may request a change in the name of the contact person for its account. A formal request must be made in writing on company letterhead and the account holder of record, as well as an officer of the company must sign it. The tickets will remain in the company name and the Seattle Mariners reserve the right to approve any such request.
Individual Requests: Season ticket accounts can only be transferred with the permission of the Seattle Mariners. All requests must be made in writing by the account holder of record and sent to the Seattle Mariners Ticket Office. The Seattle Mariners reserve the right to approve any such requests.
