Were you one of the millions of Americans who volunteered their time last year? If so, the Seattle Mariners, the Washington Commission for National & Community Service, 710 ESPN Seattle, News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM and 770 KTTH want to thank you for your service at a special night just for volunteers.
Salute to Volunteers Night is the perfect way to recognize your employees' efforts or hold a team-building event with your community organization. If you bring 25 or more to the game, we'll add your group's name to the special volunteer welcome on the scoreboard at the end of the 3rd inning.
You can also find information on how you can get involved in new community projects at a special Volunteer Bazaar. There will be 20 organizations on hand, selected by the Washington Commission for Community Service, to help you get started.
Mingle and network with other volunteers! An exclusive happy hour will be set up just for those with Salute to Volunteers Night tickets. This pre-game event will run from when gates open at 5:10 pm until game time. The happy hour will be adjacent to the Volunteer Bazaar, located on the 100-level above the bullpens (just past section 152). Food & drinks will be available for purchase.
